Jenito’s Fried Chicken

Welcome to my latest culinary adventure, where I delve into the newly featured gem of the fried chicken scene—Jenito’s Fried Chicken. Located conveniently at 143 Montague Street, Worthing, England BN11 3BX, this spot promises a mouthwatering experience, though it has had its share of mixed reviews. Let's explore what they have to offer.

The star of Jenito’s menu is undoubtedly their Spicy Magnum Burger Meal, a delectable combination of a spicy chicken fillet, crispy hash brown, and cheese, all slathered in mayo and adorned with fresh salad. This hearty meal is paired with chips and your choice of coleslaw or BBQ beans for just £9.06. It’s a flavor explosion that lingers in your memory, perfect for those who enjoy a kick in their meal.

But it’s not only about burgers at Jenito’s. Their chicken bites come in a variety of sauces, including sweet chilli and garlic mayo, priced at just £6.04 for eight pieces. Each bite is a juicy delight, coated in a rich sauce that makes your taste buds dance. If you’re a fan of variety, these bites are perfect for sharing—or not!

  • Jenito’s Fried Chicken Highlights:
  • Innovative Flavors: The peri peri and hot chilli bites showcase their commitment to bold flavors for just £6.04.
  • Satisfying Sides: Don’t overlook the crispy onion rings and peri peri fries; they’re a perfect complement to your main dish.
  • Generous Meal Deals: From family-size meals to special deals for two, the options cater to all appetites.

However, despite the enticing offerings, it’s worth mentioning that some customers have reported issues with late deliveries and customer service, raising concerns about the overall dining experience. The establishment’s reputation has been tinged with uncertainty, with some questioning its transparency and reliability. As a food reviewer, it's important to weigh the quality of cuisine against the service provided.

In summary, Jenito’s Fried Chicken presents a tempting menu filled with unique flavors and hearty portions that can satisfy any fried chicken lover. While there are concerns to address regarding service, the culinary delights they offer show promise. It’s an establishment where the food can shine, even amidst the bumps of operational challenges. If you’re in the mood for a fulfilling feast and can manage the wait, this might just be your next stop in Worthing.

Delivery came an hour and half late. I couldn’t receive it as i was busy at work. Their phone number is fake and doesn’t work. It was an order of nearly £ where I didn’t get the food and they refused to refund. They even had the cheek of denying being late when I have receipts and call logs an hour after delivery time. Their staff is disrespectful and refuse accountability. Poor customer service. Appalling customer treatment. Better off getting the same food elsewhere where you’ll be respected as a paying customer. Do not buy.

This place is suspicious, it shares the same address as a place called Montague Burger Shop on just eat, however when you look for Montague Burger Shop on Google maps it doesn't exist. Pretty sketchy and I'm Jenitos fried chicken is operating a couple different businesses under one roof without transparency.Anyway this review is about food and because it shares the same address and the place I ordered from I'll write my review here.I ordered the Gun Beef Burger, onion rings, Mozzarella sticks and garlic mayo bites. The Gun Beef Burger was average and you could compare to a fish a chip shop Burger, pretty low end on the taste scale especially for the price which was £.. The only good thing was that it was hot.The onion rings were nice and hot, however they were more batter than onion. The price was fair, I ordered for £..The mozzarella sticks were tasty and were also hot. The price was probably a bit more than they should be. I ordered for £.. I've seen lots of places charge less for the same quality and quantity. The Garlic and Mayo bites were average tasting and very chewy. The price for quantity was fair, I can't remember the exact amount I got in the pot, I think it was around - costing £.. They were decent sized bites.Overall the price was more than it was worth. I wouldn't recommend Montague Burger Shop/Jenitos fried chicken or whatever they call themselves.

I would rate the food, except its taken over hours since we ordered and its only just arrived. No apology, explanation or anything provided. We were also told (after having placed the order at pm) that it would be half an hour. And its arrived and a half hours after its estimated arrival time. I understand busy time of year but that is ridiculous. The number on their website is also invalid and doesn't ring so was unable to get a hold of them to see what's going on. Incredibly disappointing as I haven't had any problems with them up until tonight. Will be requesting a full refund for the hassle.
